Reading the auto-recommendation signal
Interpret the product-form recommendation as a review signal, then use clinical judgement and the full patient record to decide.
Treat the product-form recommendation as a summary of the submitted answers, not as the clinical decision.
Understand the signal
The case can show these outcomes:
- Approve — the answers met the configured approval conditions.
- Review — the answers need clinical review before a decision.
- Decline — a configured rule found a disqualifying answer.
- Flag — the answers include a concern for the clinician to check.
The recommendation is based on the form version and answer snapshot submitted by the patient. A clinician still reviews the answers and records the final outcome.
Know how it was produced
Managers write product questions and rules in the product catalogue. Rules can compare an answer, compare BMI, or add a flag. A disqualifying rule takes priority; flags are collected so the clinician can see them together.
When Auto-recommend approval is enabled, a qualified answer set with no flags can show an approval signal. It does not replace clinical review or prescribing. Read the patient’s answers and use clinical judgement whenever the signal and the wider record do not agree.
