Catalogue management
Add products, prices, doses, stock thresholds, expiry alerts, and patient intake forms so prescribing and reorders use trusted details.
Use /practice/catalogue to add and maintain the medicines your clinicians can select for a prescription.
Add or edit a medicine
- Select New product or Edit on an existing row.
- Enter the Product code, name, optional default dose, price in pounds, and clinical or product notes.
- Set the low-stock threshold and expiry-alert window in days.
- Leave Active selected when clinicians should be able to use it.
- Select Create or Save.
The catalogue shows active and disabled medicines, their product code, price, dose, description, stock threshold, and expiry window. Turn Active off to remove a medicine from new prescription choices while keeping the record available for existing history.
Add product-specific questions
Select Intake form on a product to add questions and triage rules for information such as blood pressure or smoking history. The form is shown to a patient after a clinician chooses that medicine on their case. The clinician sees the submitted answers and recommendation on the case page.
Each practice has its own catalogue. A medicine from another practice cannot be selected for your cases, and adding a normal product does not need a developer or database change.
