Catalogue management

Add products, prices, doses, stock thresholds, expiry alerts, and patient intake forms so prescribing and reorders use trusted details.

Use /practice/catalogue to add and maintain the medicines your clinicians can select for a prescription.

Add or edit a medicine

  1. Select New product or Edit on an existing row.
  2. Enter the Product code, name, optional default dose, price in pounds, and clinical or product notes.
  3. Set the low-stock threshold and expiry-alert window in days.
  4. Leave Active selected when clinicians should be able to use it.
  5. Select Create or Save.

The catalogue shows active and disabled medicines, their product code, price, dose, description, stock threshold, and expiry window. Turn Active off to remove a medicine from new prescription choices while keeping the record available for existing history.

Add product-specific questions

Select Intake form on a product to add questions and triage rules for information such as blood pressure or smoking history. The form is shown to a patient after a clinician chooses that medicine on their case. The clinician sees the submitted answers and recommendation on the case page.

Each practice has its own catalogue. A medicine from another practice cannot be selected for your cases, and adding a normal product does not need a developer or database change.
