Replying when your clinician asks for more info
Answer a clinician’s follow-up question in your patient portal so your UK clinic can continue reviewing your treatment request.
When the clinician needs more information before deciding, your case turns 🟡 amber and a "More info requested" card appears on your dashboard. The card shows:
- The clinician's specific question
- A textbox for your written reply
- An optional file-attachment field (e.g. for a fresh BMI photo)
How to reply
- Read the clinician's question carefully — they're trying to close a small gap, not restart your whole intake.
- Type a clear answer in the textbox.
- If they asked for a photo, attach it. You can drag it onto the field or click to browse.
- Click Submit reply.
Your reply is stored on the case and the clinician is notified straight away. The case moves back into review.
Can I send a photo via WhatsApp instead?
Yes — see WhatsApp uploads. Photos sent to the clinic's WhatsApp number while your case is in "more info needed" status attach automatically.
Tips for fast turnaround
- Answer just what was asked. Don't restart from scratch.
- Add context only if needed. "Here's a fresh BMI photo on the scale, weighing X kg" is enough.
- Don't re-upload everything. Your earlier uploads are still on file.
What if I disagree with the question?
Reply with your view. The clinician reads every reply. If you believe a question is irrelevant or based on a misreading of your record, say so politely — they'll either reconsider or respond.
